Provides software usability design, evaluation and support to software development teams. Creates, evaluates and modifies prototypes to support evolving software application development. Develops user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, and task and objective analyses. 

What you’ll be doing...

    • Performs research focused on understanding work practice and user behavior as individuals and as part of a work group.
    • Interacts with internal stakeholders to identify UX functional requirements.
    • Works with product management and development to put functional requirements into context via use cases.
    • Works in cross functional teams as part of the process for translating functional requirements into system designs.
    • Influences the development team to support UCD.
    • Develops low fidelity and high-fidelity UI prototypes
    • Designs and runs product usability benchmark studies, usability field studies & contextual design projects.
    • Guides creation of user scenarios and personas for product. Performs other duties, as assigned

What you’ll bring to us…

  • 5+ years of user experience design and analysis or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Graphics, Industrial Design, or related field.
  • Proficient in interview techniques
  • Ability to identify emerging interaction patterns and trends
  • Ability to develop high fidelity prototypes using design tools like Figma, Adobe XD and effectively communicate designs
